Canterbury Players Set Menu
8th-10th June 2010
Bookings from 7.30pm, performance from 9.30pm
At last the weather seems to have changed, the snowdrops and daffodils have emerged, and here at The Farmhouse the menu is changing..
Moving out of a long, cold Winter into a sunny, fresh Spring is a joy not just to us as people but also to our gardens, bringing a spritely, healthy batch of edible goods straight out of the ground and onto our plates..
To mark this turn of events our seasonal Spring Menu is now available at the restaurant, where we're celebrating the finest in Kent's produce for the next 3 months. From a Chargrilled Pigeon Breast or a Brown Trout Fillet with Smoked Haddock Scotch Egg for starters to Spring classics like Rabbit or Warm Chicken Salads for mains, the A La Carte menu is a delectable, delicious treat for all..
We're also launching a brand new bar menu which will run alongside the A La Carte menu daily. Continuing our aims to bring seasonal, locally-sourced eating to a mass market, the bar menu offers more recognisable and less challenging dishes prepared to the same level of dedication and care. Treats such as the Farmhouse Fish Pie sit alongside pub classics like a Ploughmans (with local Ashmore Cheese or our own cured Farmhouse Ham) or our very own hand-reared Pork Pies.
The sun is shining here at 11 Dover Street, and it's reflected on your next plate of food..
